Lockbox Specialist Salina

Bennington State Bank (BSB) is seeking a team member at our Salina location. The ideal candidate will deliver superior and quality customer service and efficient and accurate transaction processing while being responsible for processing of items (payments) accepted through the lockbox processing system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data entry with accuracy
• Log and track all incoming remittance mail; sorts, opens and verifies outgoing remittance mail.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties, answers questions or inquiries from lockbox customers, resolves problems or issues and performs data and item entry.
• May correspond with clients or bank personnel on various lockbox items.
• Notifies support areas of problems or issues which could cause delay in items being processed.
• Provide customer with back-up documentation as requested.
• May be responsible for tracking and monitoring reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn and follow new procedures quickly.
• Perform other support operations functions as required.
• Comprehend and translate verbal, written and on-line instructions into action.
• Follow internal operational controls and bank standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum +1 year of working in a fast-paced, detail oriented, high volume production environment.
• Customer focus in a data entry or production environment.
• Attention to detail in a production environment.
• Ability to continuously learn and adapt.
• Solid attendance record.

SPECIFIC EDUCATION AND SKILL

1. Knowledge of Windows based software.
2. Ability to use a personal computer.
3. Data Entry-ability to use 10 key calculator.
4. Detail oriented.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Able to fully commit to the work schedule.
7. Clear background

MINIMUM PHYSICAL
Office Environment.  Keyboarding. Ability to lift 25 lbs.  Bend, sit, twist, efficiently/effectively use a 10 key machine.  Must have valid Driver’s License and own transportation, some driving (in town) may be required.

HOURS

Full time hours (between 30-40 hours per week) during the hours of 8AM and 5PM, Monday-Friday.  This is not a remote position.
