Bennington State Bank (BSB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Ernie Beaudet as Vice President, Business Development Loan Officer in Wamego and surrounding markets. Beaudet is joining the business development efforts to grow Commercial Business relationships while maintaining current client relationships and sales.
Beaudet has a span of 40 years in the Banking Industry, providing customers with solutions to fit their financial needs. A Kansas native, Beaudet was born and raised in Manhattan, KS, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kansas State University. He started his career in banking as a teller while attending Kansas State University and quickly moved up from there. Beaudet is well known throughout the business community and brings over three decades of experience as President/CEO at community banks in Kansas. He most recently held the position of President/CEO with Heritage Bank in Topeka.
“The aspect of banking that I most enjoy is providing financing for individuals to be successful in business,” Beaudet stated. “I have admired BSB since arriving in Topeka and becoming more familiar with their rich history. BSB is made up of hard working community bankers who care about their customers.”
Beaudet’s banking experience and knowledge will further support BSB’s goal of becoming a premier commercial lender in Kansas.
